The key role of External Area Manager in our company is to ensure quality customer service is provided in a timely manner. This position will act as a pivotal point between all staff and clients to ensure continual smooth customer service.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure quality customer service is provided at all times
- Building and maintaining customer relationships by visiting and keeping in regular contact with current and potential new customers
- Increasing sales volume by growing our already large customer base with new customers
- All aspects of sales from generating new leads to quoting and obtaining orders and ensuring exceptional customer service
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide professional technical expertise
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Providing sales reports to management and meeting company Key Performance Indicators
- Follow WHS procedures while ensuring safe work practices are adhered to
Essential Criteria
- Building or related Industry knowledge, trade qualified favourable.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
- Experience with customer service and dispute resolution
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
