About the role…The ideal candidate is able to manage the fast pace of the medical supply industry. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing the overall output of their region’s sales team (New South Wales and Queensland), as well as being responsible for developing, communicating and working with the sales team to achieve set business objectives. On a daily basis you will:
- Engage with specialists/surgeons to promote, educate and sell MicroPort CRM’s suite of products and increase awareness of our products and services
- Effectively establish and communicate goals, objectives and strategies to your team, peers and managers
- Enthusiastically drive and track sales activity, of self and others
- Provide direct coaching, mentoring and support to ensure team success
- Provide in theatre case support, technical support services and perform high quality cardiac testing procedures
- Work with and support team members to submit tenders
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Provide technical support for physicians, health care professionals and field sales staff.
- You’re a strong and personable leader with exceptional communication skills who genuinely enjoys guiding others to achieve excellent results
- You hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing, health sciences or business
- Demonstrated experience and success in CRM sales, territory management and sales forecasting (minimum 5 years)
- You have strong commercial acumen and enjoy leading teams to success
- You are excellent at relationship building
- You have strong technical aptitude
- You are a professional, you are friendly and calm
- You hold a valid driver’s licence
- You're adaptable, supportive and focused on delivering exceptional service
