Wanless are seeking an ‘experienced sales professional’ to join our Waste Management Services team in Sydney, as our new Area Sales Manager.
Our Area Sales Managers are responsible for managing a diverse range of client portfolios; across Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing and Government sectors.
You will be a key driver of securing New Business Growth, while Maintaining, Developing and Retaining our current waste business relationships.
This role would suit a ‘motivated and driven’ individual who is customer focussed, easily relates with people at all levels and enjoys finding solutions to people’s challenges.
Your current or previous experience, and proven success within the waste industry is a considerable advantage.

Your Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the NSW Sales Manager, you will be responsible for Managing, Growing and Retaining current business while actively seeking out New Business Growth opportunities.
- The role looks to maintain and develop a Sydney based sales territory.
- You’ll work closely with your client base, providing them with solutions and a quality service that strives to exceed their expectations.
- Developing and maintaining business networks and relationships that promote the Wanless brand and its continued growth across the Sydney metro area.
- Maintaining client base information via our sales CRM is also a key part of the role.
Your Attributes for Success
- Proven experience within the Waste Industry is an advantage as we’ll look to see you hit the ground running.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to clarify, resolve issues, find solutions, and be decisive.
- The ability to multi-task simultaneously, effectively prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and you’re driven to achieve your set targets.
- Experience with a Sales CRM is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with Tender Submissions and or Sales Presentations are also an advantage.
- Intermediate literacy in Google & or Microsoft Office Applications
- Valid Driver’s License (Unrestricted)
