Join us, and you could be one of them.About the Role:The Senior Area Sales Manager role is a great opportunity for candidates who would like to further advance their careers in Field Sales and management.The Senior ASM will be responsible for the management of the assigned team of Grocery + Mass Territory Managers to deliver all in-store activities and the delivery of all Field KPIs and Targets and will also manage some State based MSO groups within the Independent Channel. The Senior ASM will have a high focus on people management and will be responsible for the building and development of a high-performance sales team through ongoing focus to coaching and mentoring each team member according to their Individual Development Plan.Main Responsibilities:Team Management
- Coordinates and supervises all Direct Reports, including all Grocery Territory Managers and the exclusive Independent Territory Managers.
- State Manager relief - Assume all state manager responsibilities when the State Manager is on leave.
- Builds and maintain relationships with Key Customers (store and Area/Regional Managers) to maximise sales opportunities each session.
- Meet Key customer contacts to Upsell major activities and negotiate additional display activity for all Priority 1 and 2 activations.
- Manage some Independent Tier 2 customers within the state negotiating ranging and distribution, Pre-Packs and Display Activity for key events.
- Ensure Quality, Freshness and Standards of in-store execution are met according to the Field Action Standards set under the My Perfect Store Guidelines
- Develop plan to achieve all display and Execution Quality targets as outlined in the Activity Execution Guide.
- Ensure the Availability of all POS Material for activations in-store, including the ordering of all POS to Local Sheds in a timely manner.
- Participate in the recruitment of Territory Managers, Regional Merchandisers and seasonal helpers as required
- Ensure Performance of all Territory Managers is in accordance with Ferrero Standards and core values and fulfils the requirements of their roles.
- Implement approved Performance Management Plans as required
- Support the development and ongoing review of Individual Development Plans for all team members.
- Comply to the year-end Performance Evaluation process for all Full-Time team members.
- Participate in Project work across any business function as part of your IDP.
- Degree qualification in a relevant field
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Teams skills
- Experience in Managing and Developing People
- Influencing & Negotiation skills
- Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills
