Manager Parks and Facilities

  • Lead the Parks and Facilities team supporting the Council's values, team performance and effectiveness

We have a great opportunity to lead the Parks and Facilities team of 30 staff, managing an operational budget of $9 million and capital expenditure of $4 million.

With a strategic approach, you will be accountable for the operation and maintenance of Council owned and managed buildings, facilities, parks, gardens, sporting and recreational assets.  This role ensures the delivery of safe and accessible open spaces of a high amenity that provide a broad range of recreation opportunities for people across the Armidale region.

About you

You will have had a high level of experience in the delivery of operational, maintenance and capital works programs for public spaces, buildings and facilities, working collaboratively with a diverse group to support these goals.
