Temporary Full Time (until June 2025 for maternity leave coverage)

About the role

The Art Programs and Promotions Officer is responsible for supporting the promotion of the City of Greater Dandenong’s cultural services and venues, and for engaging the community through online arts-based programming.

This role is required to deliver vibrant and innovative outcomes that are relevant to our community to maximise participation in the arts. The role involves supporting the development and delivery of marketing strategies, promotional activities, and collateral for our cultural programs, services, and venues.

The role reports to the Arts and Cultural Promotions Lead and works closely with all members of the Arts and Cultural Development team as well as with the Drum Theatre Team.

This parental leave position is a full-time role, covering from Monday 3 June 2024 to Monday 16 June 2025.

About you

We are looking for someone who has experience in social media, eNews, website management, content marketing, and audience development. You are required to have a good understanding of web-based processes, video creation, image editing software, and the use of design tools such as Canva.
