Full Time Chef
The position of Full time Chef in Restaurant is required for MS.SUE at 100 Hopkins, Footscray

Key Responsibilities for the chef role will include:
- Planning of menu items and liaising with the Restaurant Manger on costs/expenses
- Assisting with all aspects of food preparation
- Supervising kitchen staff and working collectively to meet restaurant demands
- Checking of kitchen inventory and ordering of supplies as required
- Estimating of all restaurant costs including food, labour and incidentals
- Mentoring and training of junior staff as required
- Monitoring of food preparation to ensure high standards are adhered to at all times
- Assisting the Head Chef in planning Staff Rosters
- Adhering to all OH&S regulations and regular updating of policies as required
MS.SUE is seeking an individual with the following key attributes:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a busy kitchen environment
- Certificate III or higher in commercial cooking
- Expertise in the hospitality sector
- Exposure to Asian Cuisine
- Superior customer service focus
- Exceptional communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable and ability to work Wednesday to Sunday.
- Well-presented and professional
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Team player with a can-do attitude who can also work effectively unsupervised
- Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirements
Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000
