As part of a growing hospitality group, their unique food and beverage offerings will be the talk of the town for guests and staff alike.Job DescriptionThe role of the Head Breakfast Chef is to oversee the efficient operation of the kitchen service in a manner that produces high-quality products at budgeted profit and to ensure that all food hygiene regulations are followed.In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of all aspects of the breakfast service including buffet, in-room dining and occasional functions.
Ensuring that all areas of the Kitchen are maintained to the standards required by the Hotel. This is a senior management role for the business and is a leadership role where you will coordinate and execute the training of all Chefs while maintaining a safe, hygienic and healthy working environment. To cook any food on a daily basis according to business requirements for all food outlets.Overview of the role
- Reporting into Executive Chef you will oversee the breakfast operation
- Delivering high-quality fresh breakfasts to our guests
- To ensure consistency of product delivery and presentation
- Attention to portion, cost and waste control
- Liaising with Hotel Management throughout the property, with regard to customer needs
- To be aware of all food/menu requirements on a daily/weekly basis throughout the Hotel
- Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the department
