About the Role:
The Funding Allocations and Reform Lead is someone who will apply their strong financial modelling / analytical skills to delivers strategic and operational support in relation to the department’s funding arrangements leading to billions of dollars of funding being allocated annually to South Australian schools and preschools. This position will also assist in identifying and / or delivering on process and funding policy improvement that supports the Department’s policy initiatives and objectives.
This ranges from providing advice and support in exciting new reforms and initiatives that promote change, through to supporting the smooth and efficient operation of existing approved policy arrangements where the Funding Directorate play an important role in supporting the Chief Operating Officer and Divisions with the Department for Education.
Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in accounting, economics or related financial / business management field.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO6 $97,022 - $102,626 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation
