What does the job look like?
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to coordinate all inventory usage and storage requirements at the BevChain Maddington site, according to company budgets and plans. This position will contribute to increase company profitability by efficiently and effectively maintaining all inventory related activities, stock accuracy and product integrity for BevChain whilst adhering to safety standards to achieve operational excellence. This is a permanent opportunity, operating Monday – Friday | 7am – 2pm, with an expectation of flexibility in working hours to accommodate any changes in the site structure. Key areas:
- Analyse inventory records to assess stock demand, ensuring optimal stock levels in collaboration with the client
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular physical inventories or cycle counting, maintaining meticulous attention to detail
- Proactively tackle inventory challenges, offering timely resolutions to minimise disruptions and ensure the utmost satisfaction for both customers and colleagues
- Monitor and meticulously report on inventory records, highlighting any issues such as damaged stock levels, credit returns, and necessary stock adjustments
- Execute stock transactions with precisions in alignment with customer reconciliation processes
- Maintain open communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including the customer
- Adhere to Linfox standards, policies, and procedures consistently, including the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Management system.
Are you the one?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and analytical individual capable of overseeing and upkeeping all facets of inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and possess strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You can demonstrate:
- 2-3 years’ experience in inventory is highly regarded
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Intermediate Excel)
