About the Role
Reporting to the Manager SAASTA, the School Operations Coordinatorwill develop and lead schools with the intention of highly engagingschool programs for secondary Aboriginal students with the focus onculture, health, language, sports and wellbeing within astudent-centered delivery. The position will ensure that the SAASTAstaff working in Academy schools are supported to access highquality learning resources in order to implement culturallyrelevant and appropriate teaching and learning programs. The SchoolOperations Coordinator will develop programs that maximize studentlearning outcomes in the senior years, in preparation forsuccessful and meaningful post-school transition. Theincumbent will work in collaboration with the Aboriginal Pathwaysdirectorate, SAASTA manager, the State-wide Curriculum Coordinatorand key stakeholders.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for HumanServices (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to beingemployed which is required to be renewed every five years beforeexpiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect -Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course orthe online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to beupdated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO7: $106,512 - $115,137 per annum plus superannuation.
