The Program Services team currently has an opportunity for an Assessment Officer.
The role provides support to the Team Leader Assessments for the assessment set up and results management of the FS (Foundation Studies), AEP (Academic English Program), Diploma, PMP (Pre Master Program), TPO (Transition Program Online) and TNE (Transnational Education) programs. The role will work closely with the Team Leader Assessment and Assessment Coordinator to ensure the efficient provision of education services.
Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Works closely with the Examinations Team to Manage the supplementary exams for all Kensington and TNE programs.
- Management of UNSW College assessment set up in both SAM and JR+ the Pre Masters-Program ensuring results are accurate and published to strict deadlines.
- Support the Team Leader Assessments in the supervision and training of casual clerical assistants responsible for processing exams delivered both F2F and online across annual assessment cycles for Kensington and external campuses.
- Advise Senior Education Managers on optimal grade settings and UNSW Admissions and UNSW Faculty Subject Consultants regarding results and academic misconduct matters to assure student progression and results sign-off for the Pre Masters-Program
The successful applicant will have (but not limited to):
• Appropriate qualifications and/or equivalent experience in administration.
• Highly developed organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient time and workload management skills and keen attention to detail.
• Previous experience working with a student Management system.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a busy
team.
