Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join our Engineering and Assets Department as Asset Analyst and Inspection Officer.
This role primarily consists of:
- Develop asset renewal modelling for Council’s assets to develop asset renewal programs, whilst performing regular analysis of asset data
- Assist in developing and implementing Council’s strategic asset management framework
- Assessing and analysing Asset Management performance and driving change through Council’s strategic improvement actions
- Engaging with asset owners and key stakeholders to facilitate the integration of asset management understanding and knowledge across the organisation
- Maintaining Council’s Road register as part of meeting Council’s obligations under the Road Management Act
- Assist in coordinating the preparation and review of Asset Management Plans, data collection and data migration into Council’s asset management software system (Confirm)
- Assisting in the development and management of Council’s Assets systems and the timely implementation of Council’s Asset Management Strategy
- Co-ordinate regular meetings of the Asset Management Steering Committee and ensure minutes are prepared and circulated.
- Inspect Council assets to capture quality asset condition data to develop asset data models and strategic asset renewal programs.
- Effective communication skills to prepare asset management reports, policies and documents, to collaborate with various stakeholders and to deliver exceptional customer service will also ensure your success in this role.
