About The Role:
Are you ready to elevate your career to new heights? Compare the Market has an opportunity for an enthusiastic Financial Analyst to join our vibrant team. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for meticulously reporting on all aspects of marketing expenditure across our business. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing the analytical insights necessary to empower our marketing team to optimise channel investments for peak performance.
This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where strategic foresight meets hands-on operational excellence. Your role will involve not only crunching numbers but also collaborating closely with the marketing team to ensure our investments yield the best possible outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Collect and assess data on Marketing campaign spend and results, analysing the effectiveness of initiatives to inform CTM Management on specific return metrics.
- Become a key stakeholder in quarterly and annual forecasts, evaluating historical trend analysis, assumed market trends, and planned initiatives to develop both spend and operational KPI measures.
- Collaborate with marketing leaders to develop business cases for specific initiatives, including financial return benchmarking against key KPI metrics.
- Generate monthly expense reports for each channel and vertical, collaborating with the Group Finance department to ensure spend is accurately recorded.
- Provide management with information by reviewing and summarising key data, preparing reports, and presenting findings & recommendations.
- Establish a reporting regime to update management on the return profile of specific campaign activities & spend.
- Research and analyse industry & company-specific trends to identify new product/market opportunities.
- Assist in the management and execution of due diligence processes.
What You’ll Bring:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Finance, Commerce, or Economics.
- Previous experience in forecasting and analysis is advantageous.
- Proficiency in intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including the ability to utilise Excel functions.
- Capability to collaborate effectively in a team environment or autonomously, with adept prioritisation skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with individuals at all stages of the data supply chain, recognising the significance of meeting deadlines.
