Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on brewing equipment, machinery, and utilities.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with the brewing and production teams to ensure minimal downtime and efficient equipment utilisation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Support the implementation of safety protocols and guidelines within the maintenance department.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated with the latest brewing technology and maintenance practices.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Team member in a brewery, food processing, or manufacturing environment.
• A recognised Electrical Trade qualification is essential. Dual trade qualification will be highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in analysing, diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC’s
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Experience in TIG welding stainless steel and/or sanitary welding highly regarded.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule and handle on-call duties when required. You will be needed to perform 12hr leave coverage shifts when required.
