Asset Data & Reporting Officer

Do you enjoy working with systems and using data to influence quality outcomes and change? If so, Maroondah is looking for you! In this role you'll support Councils critical Asset Data management lifecycle activities.
As part of the role, you will also:
- Undertake Asset Data management lifecycle activities including planning, processing, cleansing, storage, management, analysis and visualisation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline and maintain data quality associated with Councils Asset Management Information System (Infor) and GIS (IntraMaps) layers
- Ensure asset class data quality and governance principles are implemented
- Enhance Council’s asset reporting function to provide quality information and insights
- Periodically assist with software lifecycle management and asset surveillance activities.
To be considered for the role, you will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Information Systems, Data Science, GIS) or demonstrated relevant experience
- Experience in data lifecycle management and data quality management
- Experience using spatial systems (e.g. SQL Spatial, QGIS, ArcGIS)
- Experience using analytical reporting tools including MS SSRS, Power BI
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL language and SQL writing skills
- Strong initiative, attention to detail and organisation skills
- A current Drivers Licence.
