Asset Engineer

Job Description:
Downer's Road Services business, DM Roads, is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 33,000 km of road.
We have an early career opportunity for an Engineer to support the Incident Response and Motorway Maintenance (I&M) team on the NorthConnex Maintenance Contract. Ideally you are a recently graduated civil engineer and possess an interest in pursuing a long-term career in asset management. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be responsible for ensuring all Asset Management Services are carried out in line with contractual obligations and captured within the Asset Management System.
ABOUT YOU
Ideally you will have Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline and have a strong knowledge of databases and Excel together with;

• Early career experience in the road asset maintenance sector preferred
• Knowledge of Asset Management Systems and processes highly regarded
• Experience working in a customer focused environment
• Be outcome focused and have strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with people both in a team and autonomously
• Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment
