About the Role
Reporting into the Manager of Technology & Improvement, Tronox is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Asset Improvement Lead at our Bunbury Pigment Processing Plant.
This is a senior leadership role managing a multi-discipline team of engineers. The function provides improvement to the business through capital project initiation and concept studies, asset integrity compliance and reliability improvements, and medium to long term strategic asset management plans.
The Lead will be responsible for:
- Developing policy and procedures to provide life cycle management of all site assets (fixed and rotating plant, civil and structural, electrical and instrumentation)
- Developing and managing 3 to 5 year Life of Asset plans (Capital and Opex) required for maintaining the integrity of assets whilst identifying opportunities to improve their function and life cycle costs.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance and Reliability function to review and improve equipment Strategies and tactics to optimize performance and cost of equipment
- Managing investigations into complex equipment failures and providing solutions to mitigate recurrence.
- Strategic direction setting and driving of team performance to deliver tangible outcomes to the business.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- The highest regard for safe work practices.
- The ability to communicate, network and build relationships with other business functions
- A demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team of professionals
Advantageous to your application:
- Asset Integrity knowledge in a broad range of equipment (pressure vessels and piping, rotating equipment, instrumentation, electrical infrastructure, civil and structures)
- Understanding of Reliability Principles within a chemical processing, manufacturing or related industry
- Understanding of relevant regulatory codes and standards for Pressure and Electrical Equipment
