About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City by making sure that various built assets and infrastructure, such as parking facilities, furniture, and equipment, are installed and kept up according to the specified level of service and the applicable Australian Standards. This should align with community requirements and contribute positively to the image of services provided by the City of Hobart.

Role accountabilities include: 

  • Undertake programmed and reactive maintenance on a range of built assets and infrastructure.
  • Assist the Supervisor Projects & Assets with the delivery of the Capital Works Program across the network of Parks & Opens Space areas managed by the City of Hobart.
  • Undertake prescribed inspections of a range of built assets and infrastructure. 
About you

The desired candidate will have a Certificate III or above in a relevant trade.  You will make sure that various built assets and infrastructure, such as parking facilities, furniture, and equipment, are installed and kept up according to the specified level of service and the applicable Australian Standards. This should align with community requirements and contribute positively to the image of services provided by the City of Hobart.
