About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Asset Management Strategy & Planning, the Asset Management Specialist is responsible for the delivery of quality Asset Management and implementation of Asset Management initiatives.

Key duties include:

  • Lead and provide advice for Asset Management activities across the organisation in accordance with Asset Management standards and practice.
  • Develop and implement digital Asset Management systems that enable understanding of long-term priorities across multi-disciplined teams. 
  • Work collaboratively with the Asset Performance team to monitor and manage risk and impact related to asset performance. 
  • Maintain and improve life cycle cost modelling capabilities that include planning, acquiring, operating, maintaining, renewing, and disposing of assets for business case optioneering, inputs for maintenance and capital budgets.
  • Develop, operationalise and improve Asset Management systems and processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant engineering degree or technical qualification.
  • Tertiary qualification in Asset Management / reliability engineering (desirable).
  • Proven experience in an Asset Management role ideally with port infrastructure experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
