About the role
We have a permanent opportunity for an Asset Management System & Risk Specialist. You’ll lead strategic projects and provide advice to support asset investment decisions across Water Corporation’s extensive asset base throughout WA. This role will be based in our Leederville office reporting to the Manager – Asset Management System & Risk.
What the role will involve
· Lead the development of Asset Management strategies by collaborating with key stakeholders
· Provide technical advice related to Asset Management and/or asset risk
· Support Asset Management and/or asset risk governance processes to identify improvement opportunities
· Ensure the Asset Management and/or risk assessment tools meet the requirements of the business and identify opportunities to streamline, automate and innovate
· Contribute to the delivery of the capital program formulation process ensuring an effective balance between cost, risk and level of service for our customers
Key skills and experience
You will be degree qualified in a science, engineering or a similar discipline, along with experience in Asset Management or risk management. Experience in development and implementation of strategic initiatives will be required, along with demonstrated experience with complex analyses, with the ability to distil information and adapt it to suit requirements of different audiences. Your excellent collaboration and communication skills will ensure success in this role.
