Asset Officer

Job description The Role:
This role is within a local council based in the north west suburbs of Melbourne, and is one of the fastest growing municipalities in Victoria. This is an opportunity to join their growing team as an Asset Management Officer in a permanent capacity.
Responsibilities:

• Asset data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Use of GPS devices for asset data collection.
• Liaising with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
• Maintaining asset registers and systems.
• Preparation of reports, plans and maps.
• Administration tasks.

About You:

• Previous experience within a similar role, ideally within a government entity.
• Strong knowledge of GIS and AUTOCAD.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills.
