The primary function of this role is to support the Finance team and other stakeholders in administrative and accounting functions for designated accounts.
Reporting to our Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for:
- Creating new Inventory Items, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Work Definitions in the ERP system.
- Maintain Inventory items, BOMs and Work Definitions by conducting regular reviews to ensure relevance and accuracy to the current business requirements.
- Action BOMs updates in the system as requested.
- Update costing of inventory items in ERP.
- Conduct weekly reconciliation of general ledger accounts and investigate variances.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks.
- Support with annual budget process and forecasting process as required, including retrieving and analysing data from Oracle to identify trends.
- Support Finance Business Partnering team and Senior Finance Management with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Provide administrative and general office support where required.
- Diploma of business or accounting required
- 2+ years’ experience in Financial Administrator, Assistant Accountant/ Management Accountant, or a similar role.
- Large ERP experience essential, preferably Oracle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
- High level of accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to meet set deadlines with a high-quality standard of work.
- Outstanding positive and engaging interpersonal skills.
- Customer service orientated.
