The role:
This is a pivotal role responsible for supporting the Financial Controller and CFO. As an experienced Assistant Accountant you will be able to hit the ground running with day-to-day accounting activities and supporting an ERP project. This role will be for roughly 5 weeks looking for someone to start ASAP!
Duties will include:
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Performing reconciliations
- Assist with Accounts Payables and Receivables
- ERP project work
- Ad-hoc accounting duties as directed
To be successful in this position, you will have a background in accounting and have 1-2 years experience using MYOB. You will have the ability to work independently in an agile environment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- CA/CPA Qualified or working towards completing CPA
- 1-2 years Accounting experience
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution or Retail desired.
- MUST have experience using MYOB
