As a key player in our global team, you'll assist the Finance Controller financial reporting, reconciliations and take a lead on much of the transactional accounting duties (AP, Credit Control and a small Payroll).
What You'll Do:
- Assist with month end activities, including revenue and expense recognition
- Fortnightly Payroll
- Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
- Assist in setting up new vendors, verifying information and establishing payment terms
- Contribute to credit management activities, monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action on past due balances
- Manage debtors' accounts, including collections activities and maintaining accurate ageing reports
- Participate in balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Manage daily banking
- Assist with cost allocations and productivity measures
About You?
- Studying towards/near completion in related degree or,
- Hold TAFE certificate in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting role, including payroll
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Detail-oriented and methodical with a strong focus on accuracy
- Proactive and problem-solving approach to identify and resolve issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Willingness to learn and be a team player with a can do attitude.
