Permanent Assistant Accountant Role - Alexandria
An exciting opportunity to join an established Marketing and Social Media business based in Sydney.
Your New Role
Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
Maintain records of payables and reconcile accounts.
Manage client billing and invoicing.
Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain credit control.
Update contact information and track interactions.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
Identify discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
Collect and process employee timesheets.
Collaborate with project managers to allocate hours correctly.
What you need to succeed
Experience Xero desired
Have exposure to working with high profile clients
Advanced/ Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills essential
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise and organise.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent communication - both verbal and written
