Your Opportunity
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our highly regarded Finance team based in the Sydney Head Office on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager in a close-knit environment, primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Commissions:
- Management of Adviser Commission System
- Reconciliation of monthly commissions
- Preparation and timely publishing of adviser commission statements
- Control of Corporate Authorised Representative arrangements
- Preparation and publishing of Corporate Authorised Representative statements
- Point of contact for any commission queries from advisers
Adviser Contracts:
- Maintain schedule of adviser prepayments and capital commitments
- Monthly review of “Special Deals” control document
- Monthly review of “Corporate Authorised Representative” control document
About You:
- Accounting or Finance related degree (CPA or CA qualified advantageous)
- Experience in an accounting department/corporate environment advantageous
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong organisational skills - time and task management
- Sound attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability to work towards deadlines in a fast-paced environment
