The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and passionate Assistant Brand Manager to join our Food’s business. You will have the unique chance to support the Marketing team with the current and future direction of Maggi – the #1 cooking brand and #3 FMCG brand in the world!

You will support and lead NPD & brand building projects, support the creative communications development & media amplification, championing the development of POS designs and leading packaging design projects, monitoring performance (such as sales, market share figures and competitive reviews) and the management of our marketing budgets – this is a truly unique opportunity to work in an innovative team to shape and deliver the future of Food.

A day in the life…
- Support with development of brand strategy & activation plans
- Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics including sales volumes, market share trends and competitor activity
- Assist with the development of communication strategies
- Building strong working relationship with internal stakeholders, including commercial, agency partners and global marketing contacts
- Develop and implement “best in class” launches for New Product Development
- Champion Point of Purchase design, development and ordering for MAGGI working with our Sales and Category teams to deliver best in class activations
- Management and champion of brand assets including image library, and digital content
- Support with day-to-day operations, including tracking & monitoring of marketing budgets, coordination of PO/invoicing process and sample management.
- You will have direct stakeholder management opportunities with the Foods management team and Business Executive Officer (BEO) and cross-functional exposure with Commercial teams and also other brand enthusiasts across the different Businesses.
What will make you successful
- The successful candidate will be degree qualified (Commerce / Business / Marketing) with 2+years exposure within FMCG Marketing.
- Excellent communication and strong project management skills are essential.
- Have strong listening skills and attention to detail to keep projects on track and aligned to delivery of tasks brief
- A proven track record supporting marketing strategies and implementation, NPD projects and communications campaign management experience will be beneficial but not required;
- Candidates with digital experience will be highly regarded;
- Ultimately it will be your innovative approach and ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects that will see you succeed in the role.
