Role Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Broker to support our Senior Account Manager in managing a diverse portfolio of Corporate clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry with a background across a variety of administration, claims, underwriting, or insurance broking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Account Manager in all aspects of client management, including renewals, quotes, and client reports
- Utilize Winbeat / INSIGHT system for processing new business, renewals, alterations, and cancellations
- Customer engagement
- Assist with claims management and provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Contribute to the improvement of processes and efficiencies within the business
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Working Arrangements: This role offers a blend of remote work and office-based collaboration, with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our office located on St Kilda Road, Melbourne.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the general insurance industry
- Insurance/Finance qualifications or in progress
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement
