ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and driven Assistant Buyer for Perfume & Cosmetics category to join the Merchandise team at Lotte Oceania. Reporting to the Buyer you will be responsible for maintaining our product database & administratively supporting the buying team
YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
- Collaborate with the Buying Team to ensure data updates and support promotional activities
- Maintain the product database including data upload and download, SKU creation, price changes, and list of suppliers or contacts
- Communication of price changes to the warehouse and stores
- Promotional and rebate administration support
- Organise supplier meetings and participate when required
ABOUT YOU
Essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Buying, Merchandise or business
- Demonstrated experience in a buying administration role
- Experience working in retail/wholesale environment
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – Excel Proficiency highly regarded
- Excellent numeracy skills & attention to detail
- Demonstrated capability in prioritization, problem-solving, and meeting deadlines.
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience in developing processes and procedures
- Knowledge/experience of international brands
- Experience in dealing with Customs
