Form of workAn exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Centre Manager to join the team and encourage our little one’s true potential in a nurturing environment at our Symonston , Genius childcare centre.
We're ideally situated for families in Symonston, Crestwood, Narrabundah, Fyshwick and Harman area. Your new centre has an engaging large outdoor playground and natural play space, each of our environments and brand-new resources is well designed to foster and enhance children’s learning and development.
- Assist the Centre Manager with the operations of the centre, ensuring your centre complies with the standards set out by the NQF
- Lead, mentor, and develop your team using the Genius Learning Management System to ensure all our staff provide the highest quality learning and care for the children under our care
- Build strong relationships with families and the community. Manage open days, centre tours and orientation that will help your centre actively attract, convert and retain families.
- Work with your educators to ensure your team is providing a quality program that evolves to meet the highest standard.
- Collaborate with our Senior Educators and Leaders and support the centre to meet and exceed the NQS and constantly improve our programs.

- Diploma-level early childhood qualification or Bachelors degree would be advantageous but not required (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Relevant working with children checks, police checks, child protection course, First Aid and CPR including anaphylaxis and asthma
- You will have sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
