We are looking for a Communications professional to undertake initial 2-3 month contract with a WA State government department, via Integrity.
Ideally with WA State or local Government communications experience and able to meet the following criteria :
- Substantial experience in the development, management, and implementation of integrated communication strategies for a large organisation.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing for various audiences using various mediums, and strong verbal presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, managing external suppliers and contractors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to negotiate successfully.
- Excellent problem solving skills, including conceptual and analytical ability.
Duties will include:
- Researches information and prepares media statements, speeches, Ministerial correspondence and presentations.
- Develops the production of Departmental publications, web-based information and other communication material, including advertising.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates integrated communications, community education and awareness and marketing and public relations programs and strategies.

- 5 day working week
- Hourly rate between $57 and $67 per hour +super
- Paid weekly
