SalaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic and organised fitness professional to become the Assistant Manager & Personal Trainer at Rec Xpress Cheltenham.
About the Role
This permanant part time Assistant Club Manager role is suitable for an individual with the desire to gain, or progress their existing experience in the fitness industry.
The successful candidate will support the Club Manager in daily club operations, contribute to sales efforts and membership retention, help maintain a safe and clean gym floor, and most importantly bring positive, motivating energy to our gym & local community.
The ideal candidate will possess strong people skills and highly developed communication and interpersonal skill set along with the willingness to support our member focused values.
This permanent part time role encompasses between 28-36 hours per week, working alongside the Club Manager, casual staff and personal trainers in a fun team environment.
Experience in gym industry is preferred, however retail or similar customer service roles is positively acknowledged. Mandatory skills include computer proficiency.
The role also includes the ability for the successful candidate to run their own Personal Training business in-gym, in addition to their Assistant Club Manager role, providing ample opportunity to scale up earnings!
The combination of your assistant manager role plus personal training should equate to a full-time commitment and earning capacity.
