AddressWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Club Manager to assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our gym. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, exceptional customer service skills, sales skills and the ability to lead and inspire our team. This role requires a proactive approach to management and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Club Manager in the overall management of the gym, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Supervise and support staff, including personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and front desk personnel.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing member inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and maintain facility cleanliness, equipment functionality, and overall gym appearance.
- Help develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Assist in organising and promoting special events, classes, and community outreach programs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle membership sales and provide tours to prospective members.
- Foster a positive and motivating environment for both staff and members.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the fitness is desired but not a necessity.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with gym management software.
- Certification in CPR/AED; fitness certifications are a plus.
