The Assistant Director, Cloud & Integration, is a technology leader who will lead a team responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of cloud environments and solution integration, primarily on the Azure platform and SAAS solutions. You will oversee the integration of Software as a Service (SAAS) solutions into the organisation's environment and provide integration services for platforms and data management, data messaging systems, and API environments. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to ensure the effective utilisation of cloud resources and seamless integration of technologies across the organisation. As you will be leading a geographically dispersed team, you will have strong capabilities in managing work and people remotely and remain connected to your team. Additionally, you remain forward-thinking, keeping a watchful eye on emerging technological trends to ensure the organisation remains innovate and enhances its technology solutions in a secure and compliant manner.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant industry experience
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing an Information Technology team or in a senior end user support role
• Certifications in end user computing (ITIL / Microsoft 365 / Azure) are highly desirable
• Practical knowledge of accountable technologies and implementation / operational support strategies
• Technology Accountabilities include (but not limited to):
o Windows Client (Windows 10 / 11)
o Azure Virtual Desktop o Microsoft 365 Suite
o InTune / SNOW / Software Deployment
o Windows Defender / Ivanti
o iOS Devices / Mobile Device Management o Printers
o Client Hardware (Laptops / Mobile Phones / Desk environment)
o Office Meeting Room
Location and Term: This role can be based in ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, SA & TAS. This is a ongoing role, at El1 level.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A Baseline security clearance is required for this role.
