About The Role:
The Assistant Director Business and Data Analysis is responsible for leading and executing strategies to transform data and information into actionable insights which can help understand organisational performance and identify improvements. The role provides specialist advice in contemporary Data Analysis and business intelligence modelling, reporting practices and Data integrity as part of an overall data reporting service which delivers internally and on behalf of whole-of-government. The role is also responsible for building capability within the Business Data Analysis (BDA) team and helping foster data literacy within the department.

Currently there is one (1) permanent full-time position available for filling. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to appoint to this advertised vacancy, it may also be used to appoint to similar positions that may arise in the Agency within the next twenty-four (24) months on a full-time, part-time, permanent or fixed-term basis with the possibility of further extension(s) and/or permanency.
