Position Available: Assistant Director/Educational Leader
We are currently seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our established team in the role of Assistant Director/Educational Leader. This is a permanent position (37.5 hours per week) with a focus on respectful care and key Educator engagement.
About Us: Located in a peaceful setting with an expansive natural outdoor play area, Majella Long Day Care and Kindergarten, Chermside West provides a unique learning environment for up to 85 children. Our programs encourage creativity, exploration, and the holistic development of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive, educational program.
• Follow the events calendar to ensure all children have the opportunity to participate in program activities and special events.
• Support children's growth and development, creating a happy, safe, and nurturing environment.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in line with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma qualification recognized by ACECQA.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard.
• Effective workplace communication skills.
