Details: The Suburban Land Agency is seeking applications from qualified financial professionals to join the Strategic Finance team as the Assistant Director – Financial Reporting. The team provides financial support and strategic advice to the Board, Senior Executives and Management within the Suburban Land Agency.
Reporting to the Director, Financial Statement and Budgets, the Assistant Director – Financial Reporting’s main responsibilities include the preparation of the financial statements, assisting in developing the internal and external budgeting, and managing the financial support area to provide high-level financial services, with a focus on supervising financial process functions.
Eligibility/Other requirements: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and completion/substantial progression towards full membership of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountant Australia and New Zealand would be highly desirable.
Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
