Are you a passionate, innovative leader with expertise in Patient Safety and Quality? We have a brand-new, multi-stream opportunity to influence strategic and operational clinical governance at one of the fastest growing health services in Queensland.
The right person for this pivotal role working alongside the Director Patient Safety and Quality might be an experienced clinician in any discipline, or a human factors and ergonomics specialist. Whatever your professional background, you will bring an interdisciplinary approach to applying contemporary systems thinking and improvement science in a complex healthcare organisation.

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level knowledge of contemporary clinical governance, including best practice Patient Safety and Quality improvement methods and practice.
- Enables high-performing teams to deliver operational outcomes while negotiating resourcing issues and risks
- Anticipates stakeholder needs and acts as strategic partner to build strong relationships and collaboration to achieve shared goals.
- Cultivates learning, innovation and resilience while fostering a workplace culture of trust, support, and compassion.
- Engages with workforce, patients, and families to understand their needs and challenges.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
