Details: The Education Directorate is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Assistant Director in the Strategic Procurement Team. The team provides a dedicated and central function for goods and services procurement as well as Community Use of School facilities for ACT public schools and the Education Support Office. It is responsible for ensuring compliance with legislation and consistency in best practice.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, possess excellent communication skills and work collaboratively to assist in the operations of the Directorate's procurement, contract management and community use of school facilities functions.
Notes: Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
