About the RoleThe Assistant Director, Technology, Assets, Contracts and Procurement is an experienced Finance subject matter expert. The Assistant Director leads a team and is responsible for the leadership and management of Branch financial matters relating budgets and finance to contract, staffing and a complex multi-vendor environment
Skills and Experience- Manage a section of finance specialists, including financial processing, advice and month end processes, and provision of learning and development opportunities.
- Assist in the identification and pursuit of opportunities and strategies to achieve cost savings, improve cost estimates and budgeting.
- Coordination, communicating and reporting of all budgets and financial performance.
- Provide strategic advice, support and guidance on financial and contract questions and issues. Drafting written advice including briefs, minutes, reports and correspondence on financial issues ranging in complexity and sensitivity, as required.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable), strong experience in financial management as well as leadership experience.

Eligibility- Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
- Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.

Salary: This role offers between$116,075 - $132,386 plus 15.4% superannuation depending on skills and experience.
