About the role
Position: Assistant Finance Manager
Location: Toowoomba QLD
Status: Full Time
Duties
- Assist with planning and execution of financial duties
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Work closely to support the Finance Manager with day to day tasks
- Compile financial reports including the daily profit & loss report
- Assist with month-end processes & reporting.
- Perform inter-company & inventory reconciliations.
- Drive continuous improvement in internal controls and processes.
- Monitor and report on metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the Finance Manager
- Assist and relieve in other positions from time to time (coverage)
About You
Essential skills and experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi skill, be flexible and adapt to changing needs of a work environment.
Your qualifications and experience:
- Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Finance.
- Experience using Openlink Agtech (preferred but not essential).
