About the Position
Currently an opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts Manager / Assistant Accountant to join the business taking control of the residential housing b. Reporting to the Directors your position will have the following responsibilities:
- End to end accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations and reconciliation of accounts
- Management of cashflow
- Management of budgeting and forecasting
- Payroll
- Dealing with discrepancies and enquiries with suppliers and subcontractors
- Other accounting and administration duties
- Working with Financial Controller and company Accountant
- Communicate with external bodies including ATO, external accountants, banks and solicitors
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a similar Accounts Manager or Accountant position
- Experience in the building industry preferred
- Experience with Databuild or XERO advantageous however not essential
- Degree qualifications highly regarded however not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
