Specialist Finance Manager (Regulatory Reporting) sought to work in a boutique & collaborative finance team.
Due to growth, our client seeks a talented Accountant with regulatory (APRA) reporting experience, to join their team to primarily focus on reg. reporting, but also jump-in to assist with general month-end and financial reporting tasks as required.
Working in the financial accounting team you will have a "can do" attitude, a hands-on style and be happy to be involved in day-to-day detail of a specialised finance function.
APRA / Regulatory Accountant responsibilities will include the following:
- APRA reporting preparation
- Timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of deliverables.
- Compliance with APRA and other regulatory standards and requirements.
- Assist in the month end processes including posting and approving journal entries posted by the team and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts including notes disclosures and board papers.

To be considered for this temporary role, you:
- Qualified CA, CPA, or ACCA qualified accountant
- Strong knowledge of the prudential regulatory framework and standards will be highly regarded.
- Strong technical accounting skills, including a solid understanding and working knowledge of accounting processes, principles, and standards (Australian Accounting Standards / IFRS).
- This is a senior appointment, with long-term development opportunities.
