Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior
Finance Officer, the
Assistant Finance Officer position will support the Finance team with transactional finance procedures. This includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, corporate cards, banking, and assisting with debt recovery.Specific accountabilities include:
- Expense and invoice management.
- Submission of data uploads to ensure invoicing to customers.
- Providing advice to customers regarding customer accounts.
- Preparation of reports, submissions, briefs and correspondence for financial operations team.
- Reconciliations across corporate cards, bank accounts.
The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will have express across a broad range of financial and accounting procedures, with experience in the government sector highly desirable.Other experience and characteristics include:
- Knowledge of reporting in a finance context.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets accurately.
- SAP ECC experience for payment management/reporting highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
