Addressu&u Recruitment Partners are proud to be partnering with a world class organisation, within the utilities sector, to recruit their Assistant Financial Accountant. This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a Junior Financial Accountant looking for the next step in their career.
Job description
- Assisting in the preparation of month end processes, including:
- Preparation and posting of journals
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Involvement in income tax returns, BAS or FBT return preparation;
- Assisting with preparing financial statements;
- Completing audit process and/or assisting with audit requests;
- Assisting in the preparation of group reporting schedules and end of year statutory financial reconciliations; and
- Researching accounting issues and application of accounting standards.
- Bachelor qualification in commerce, business or accounting;
- 1-2 years demonstrates accounting experience;
- SAP experience is advantageous;
- Knowledge of controls and/or documentation of financial processes;
- Committed to commence and/or be working toward CA or CPA;
- Strong communication; and
- Eagerness to learn.
- Permanent, full time role;
- 1 day WFH once trained; and
- Salary circa 80k+ super (depending on experience).
