Assistant Financial Analyst

Due to recent growth and an internal promotion, an opportunity for a hands-on Assistant Financial Analyst has become available.

The Role
Supporting the Financial Analyst, you will be involved in creating several commercial reports, building various financial models, undertaking regular commercial analysis, and assisting with end-of-month duties. Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Assisting with the preparation of periodic analysis and reporting
• Assisting with the monthly and quarterly calculation of sales and sales commissions
• Working with the Financial Analyst to update, review, and improve revenue forecasting models
• Importing data into the financial accounting systems and relevant financial models
• Assisting with the development of financial models for commercial analysis

About You
As a proactive problem solver, you will have completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Commerce, or a related field, and preferably have over a year of experience in financial analysis or a similar area. An understanding of financial accounting principles and a good working knowledge of Google Sheets or comparable Excel skills, as well as experience with data visualisation tools such as Data Studio or Tableau, will set you up for success in this role.

Experience with ERP systems and familiarity with SQL and Google Analytics is highly advantageous.
