When you become a Marriott Hotels Assistant Financial Controller, opportunity awaits.Position Summary:As a strategic financial business partner - champion, develop and implement property-wide strategies that deliver our financial and overall business results.

• Prepare and process detailed financial statements at end of month
• Balance-sheet reconciliations at end of month
• Coordinate and complete internal audits as required by Marriott International
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with external auditors and accountants at month-end and year-end
• Delegate data entry tasks among junior accounting staff – Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cashiering
• Payroll management
• Assist Director of Finance with annual budget preparation and monthly forecast preparation
• Ability to work multiple systems – Peoplesoft, BirchStreet, Etivity, Opera, Simphony, Microsoft Office 365

About You:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial environment, hospitality industry preferred but not essential
• Exceptional Financial knowledge
• Working rights in Australia
