The Q Automotive Group is an award winning privately owned network of new & used motor vehicle dealerships located in Queensland & Northern Rivers NSW. Our group has experienced significant recent growth and represents some of the most sought after automotive brands in Australia.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and customer focused Accountant / Assistant Financial Controller to become an integral part of our company located in our Springwood head office.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be assisting in all aspects of the administration functions for the group. This will involve:

• Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Managing people internal and external relationships
• Identifying profit opportunities
• Ensuring high performance of day to day operations.

Skills, experience & attributes:

• Significant financial management experience in a comparable role
• An appropriate balance between people management and technical skills
• Be an energetic hands on manager with a professional approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong financial system and process understanding
• Exceptional time management skills
• Ability to prioritise, plan and organise workload to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Motor industry and Pentana experience is preferred, but not essential
• Ability to adapt and learn
