Assistant Grocery Manager - IGA Gumdale

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Grocery Manager to take charge of daily operations in all areas of the running of the business to support the Store Manager.
The role will have shared responsibility for supporting our team and include:
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations within the departments, ensuring an efficient workflow is maintained
- Manage stock, keep an eye on inventory, and minimize losses
- Work alongside your team on registers, filling shelves, and merchandising special buys
- Ensure the store is presented well along with high standards of health & safety and cleanliness
- Possess a positive, friendly, and professional attitude toward our team and customers always
- Passion and enthusiasm with a hands-on approach assisting team members in enhancing their knowledge and training
- Have attention to detail
- Flexible to work a of 4-night shifts and alternate weekends
The applicant should have:
- Preferred management experience in retail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire the team
- The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to support the Store manager
- Act in a professional and responsible manner
